Dr. Gesundheit is the lead scientist at Go Viral Ltd .
Dr. Gesundheit was a member of the department of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Soroka Hospital, Beer Sheva, the Hadassah Hospital Ein Karem in Jerusalem (Bone Marrow Transplantation unit), and at a private clinical center in Tel Aviv. Dr. Gesundheit served on the faculty of the Department of Jewish Philosophy, Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at the newly opened medical facility in Tzfat (Bar Ilan University), specializing in Medical Ethics.
He attended medical school in Switzerland, and did his residency in pediatrics at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. Dr. Gesundheit completed a three year fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He received a Ph.D. in bioethics from the University of Toronto (2004), with a dissertation on Jewish medical ethics. Dr. Gesundheit studied for five years at Yeshivat Har Etzion in Alon Shvut, Israel.
